Fine-limit Sheet Metal Worker

We are looking for an experienced, precision sheet metal worker to join our team at Glenmore Hane in Slough.

Responsibilities

  • Read and understand technical drawings.
  • Operate sheet metal bending and forming machines such as Promecam press brakes. See our plant list.
  • Produce sheet metal items in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
  • Work high specifications to deadlines.

Experience required

  • Proven in reading technical drawings.
  • Proven in precision sheet metal work.
  • Proven in working to high specifications.
  • Enthusiastic approach to producing high quality work.

Fine-limit Coded TIG & MIG Welder

We're looking for a quality TIG welder to join the fabrication team at Glenmore Hane. You will be experienced in welding sheet metal components in aluminium, mild steel and stainless to precision quality. We have weld procedures (WPQR) to EN15614. See our welding fabrication page.

Responsibilities

  • Read and understand technical drawings.
  • Operate TIG and MIG welding plants safely.
  • Weld mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium sheet metal neatly.
  • Consistently produce high quality welding to reasonable deadlines.

Experience required

  • Proven in fine limit sheet metal work.
  • Proven in reading technical drawings.
  • Proven in high specification work.
  • Enthusiastic approach to welding high quality work.

Experienced powder coater

Our finishing department boasts a full suite of modern equipment and facilities for the fine-limit sheet metal components we produce. We are looking for a powder coater skilled in masking, spraying and curing preparation. See our coated finishing page.

Responsibilities

  • Read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
  • Maintain a clean working area.
  • Work high specifications to deadlines.
  • A steady hand.

Experience required

  • Competent equipment set up, maintenance and cleaning.
  • Proven high quality powder coating finishes.
  • Wet paint spraying.
  • Good understanding of technical specifications.
  • Enthusiastic approach to finishing high quality work.

Working hours

07:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday
07:00 – 11:00 Friday
