Today we supply a number of specialist vehicle and sports car makers in the UK with brackets, fittings and components made and finished in-house here in Slough. Our capabilities include material selection specification, fibre laser cutting, CNC laser and punch press and forming, precision folding, welding and finishing e.g. anodising, wet painting, powder coating including specialist coatings to stringent military and defence specific standards. Materials include plastics, aluminium, aluminium alloys, and steel with understanding of flex, tolerances under load and limits.
Our in-house finishing department is on par with the best in the UK – able to technically advise, evaluate and test.
We can prototype sheet metal components and subassemblies, produce bespoke and small runs on to batch runs for automotive teams, vehicle manufacturers and suppliers. Prototype stages include production procedures and forward-thinking efficiencies for future batch orders. Assembly work might include gluing, grommeting and inserts of components. Projects include brackets, instrument panels, special function and tensile parts, fluid tanks, boxes, grills, protection plates, shields, tread plates, steps, ramps, mounts, fascias, vehicle armour and support equipment such as electric car charging station parts.
